He has a consistent record of increasing student growth and learning for over two decades, both as a classroom teacher and as a district administrator.  He has developed strong relationships with stakeholders across the nation. Nathan is passionate about increasing equity and excellence, grounded in ethics, to ensure long-term student success. He supports a performance-driven culture in organizations. He excels in strategy implementation and accountability.

He believes we have a lot of compelling evidence (data) on student learning to improve public education. For varied reasons, the current reality is that the data ‘baby’ is thrown out with plenty of actionable ‘bath water.’ He is determined to stop this ‘data’ waste and transform public education with actionable “knowledge,” guided by his vision below.
